Factory Forward
Factory Forward brings digital transformation closer to Romanian manufacturing.
We are a series of regional workshops on AI and digitalisation for manufacturing leaders, organised by Digital Romania with jpard Solutions as main partner and Sapientia University, Faculty of Technical and Human Sciences, Târgu Mureș, as academic partner. In each city, we bring together experts from the Digital Romania network and the most representative local industrial companies to discuss real production challenges and turn them into clear digital priorities.
Why now?
Only about 5.2% of companies in Romania use AI, the lowest share in the European Union, while the EU average has risen towards 20% (Eurostat, 2025).

Before the event: Digital Readiness Index
Every participant receives access to the Digital Readiness Index, a short online self-assessment (18 questions, 6 dimensions). You arrive with an indicative profile of where your company stands, a comparison with the regional average and three suggested priorities. It is an indicative self-assessment, not a certification or a full technical audit.
Complimentary Digital Assessment
Three participating companies will be drawn at random to receive a complimentary Digital Assessment. This is a 4-hour session with experts from the Digital Romania network. It ends with a short written report that sets out your priority use cases, a roadmap and matching funding options.
