Grok Hackathon at the Museum
Some of you were at the Café Cursor evenings in Milano. This one is a bit different.
ctrlalt.museum is a retro computing museum in Pavia run by comPVter, a nonprofit I've been involved with for years. They have a robotic dog, a driving simulator, a flight simulator, and a few drones, and they're letting us hack on them for a day, actual access, not a demo behind a rope.
The brief: pick a piece of hardware, connect it to Grok (the API, Grok Voice, or the bot framework), and by evening show us something that didn't work that morning.
Ideas we've been kicking around, if you want a starting point:
talk to the robotic dog and have it go somewhere
feed the flight simulator telemetry to Grok and get a copilot that comments on your landing, or your crash
plan a drone route by describing it out loud
a bot that walks visitors through the museum collection
If you already have something in mind, ignore all of the above, and bring your own ideas.
Someone from the SpaceXAI team will be with us the whole day. Short technical session in the morning on the models and the API, then they sit at the tables with you.
Museum staff will handle the hardware side and support builders.

Teams of 1 to 4. Laptop required. API credits provided.
Pavia is about 25 min by train from Milano Rogoredo. The museum is 200m from the station.
Startup Weekend Milano–Pavia starts the next morning, Nov 6, and runs through the 8th. If you're in for that, come a day early.
