Southern Stairway Saunter, Part 1: West Loop

​Join us for a 15-mile route exploring tiled, painted, and decorated stairways in the southwest corner of San Francisco. Our route from one stairway to the next will be connected by segments of the Double Cross and Roundabout trails, as well as other paths showcasing the beauty and vitality of San Francisco’s neighborhoods. Come prepared for some off-street trails, steep inclines, and beautiful vista points. This walk is a loop that starts and ends in front of the Glen Park BART station, accessible by both BART and Muni. Offered through Walktober 2026.
