​Join us for an on-site visit at UC Davis to see how solar systems  and farming can be integrated on the same acre and put money back into farm operations.

​With input costs climbing and water getting tighter every season, agrivoltaics offers a practical edge: clean energy generation alongside crop production, up to 70% better land-use efficiency, and reduced water usage thanks to the shading solar panels provide. ​We'll walk the agrivoltaic installations at the UC Davis demonstration with the researchers and developers who designed and built them. Expect a hands-on demonstration of each system: what's growing under the panels, and plenty of time for your questions, from yields, benefits, costs, permitting, to equipment access, all of it.

​The visit wraps up with a relaxed networking session at Ruhstaller Farm Brewery, where you can network with fellow growers, researchers, and industry peers over a beer.

​This site visit is the opening event for the 4th California Germany Agrivoltaics Conference the following day, which dives into the financial, legal, and practical side of bringing agrivoltaics to your land.
