Roundtable on Bioeconomy Pipeline Development

​The roundtable is conceived as a space for constructive provocation on bioeconomy pipeline development, addressing three dimensions: the scale of the challenge, the actors in Brazil and globally willing to tackle it, and which levers are already available.

​The discussion will build on the Ciclo Bioeconomia em Ação (Bioeconomy in Action Cycle), led by Climate Ventures, and on the work developed by the Nature Investment Lab. It will also explore how existing instruments can serve the bioeconomy.

​Climate Ventures brings a strong network of Brazilian actors to the table. The session aims to complement it with international perspectives, so that participants can compare approaches across Countries.

​This high-level roundtable is not intended as a technical working session on pipeline structuring. Rather, it offers a focused 45-minute moment of reflection and inspiration, convening a select group of leaders to assess the scale of the bioeconomy pipeline challenge, identify the actors in Brazil and globally prepared to address it, and underscore why it warrants priority attention.
