​Private markets are in transition. Allocators are diligencing managers more heavily before committing capital, distributions have slowed as companies stay private longer, and managers are closing well short of target — or extending timelines by years. Meanwhile, allocators increasingly want exposure to specific deals, not a blind pool for a decade.

​The SPV has emerged as the mechanism that meets both sides: it lets managers back individual companies with conviction, gives allocators direct access and control, and opens private markets to a wider set of investors.

​Sydecar's inaugural SPV Summit convenes the people who will shape the SPV landscape for years to come: GPs, deal sponsors, allocators, wealth advisors, journalists, and policy voices. Through shared conversation, we will explore the next decade of private capital deployment through SPVs and the implications for the broader private markets ecosystem.
