Taiwanese (Tâi-gí) Conversation Group 💬🥐☕
Lí hó 你好 (hello)! Looking to practice speaking Taiwanese (Tâi-gí 台語)?
Join Taiwanese American Professionals (TAP-DC) to chat, practice, and connect with the community.
✅ Beyond the basics: It’s OK if we stumble and mix in English (or Mandarin) as we learn! Let’s practice speaking Taiwanese together.
Feel free to suggest discussion topics in the event chat (here on Luma) beforehand. After we meet, we typically go grab something to eat to keep the conversation going.
(For beginners just starting out, this specific meetup could be tough to follow. Check below for some great local beginner class recommendations.)
