Stand for Freedom - Epic 17.76 Mile Flag Chain
U.S.A. Flag Chain 2026
Make History. Stand for Freedom. Be a part of this Epic Event.
Date changed from Sept 12th to October 10th to encourage, and not conflict, with community participation in the National Day of Service.
Join us October 10th and make history and stand with thousands of Utahns along the Provo River and Murdock Canal Trails to create a historic Flag Chain celebrating America's 250th Anniversary. The goal is 17.76 miles.
Our Flag is the symbol that unites us across backgrounds, beliefs, and generations. It represents the freedoms we enjoy, the sacrifices made to preserve them, and the responsibility we share to protect them.
Invite your family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers to join you for a morning of patriotism, community, and celebration.
By reserving your spot today, you'll help create a powerful, memorable, and visual tribute that will be captured through aerial video, photography, and media coverage—showing that Utah County honors the flag and stands for freedom.
Designed for Everyone
This family-friendly event is open to people of all ages and abilities. The trails are paved a mostly level throughout making it accessible for a wide range of fitness levels and mobility needs.
