Managing Work-Based Learning in New York Schools: District Focus Group #2
This Event Is For High Schools*
Join us for a virtual discussion with New York school and district leaders on the future of work-based learning, internships, career readiness, and workforce development programs.
We’ll begin with a brief overview of how Starteryou is helping districts manage student placements, employer partnerships, hour tracking, and reporting. The remainder of the session will be an open conversation focused on the challenges and opportunities facing New York schools.
As work-based learning requirements and career readiness initiatives continue to expand across the state, we’re looking to learn directly from the educators and administrators leading this work every day.

What challenges exist in tracking placements, hours, employer feedback, and outcomes?
