Collective Creativity as Catalyst
What if creativity isn’t simply escapism- but one of the most powerful catalysts for climate action we have?
This session explores the emerging science behind creativity, music and collective experience as tools for resilience, imagination and mobilisation. How does creativity affect the brain and body? Why does creating something unlock different ways of thinking? What happens when creative methods are used in policy-making? And how can music, storytelling and artistic practice help people stay engaged, hopeful and capable of action in the face of climate disruption?
Bringing together neuroscientists, creatives and pioneers in music, this conversation examines creativity not as escapism, but as infrastructure for human response - before the session stops talking about the solution and becomes one.
