Futury Matching Day
Finding the right co-founder is one of the most critical steps in building a startup — and one of the hardest. The Futury Matching Day is a curated, in-person format designed to bring together founding teams actively looking for a Business or Tech co-founder with talented individuals ready to join a startup at the ground floor.
Teams pitch their startup, meet pre-selected candidates in structured 1-on-1 sessions, and continue with open networking — all in a relaxed bar setting. Promising matches then enter a 6-week testing phase at the Futury Startup Space in Frankfurt.
How the day works
1. Team pitches — Each founding team presents their startup
2. Pre-selected 1:1 speed matching — curated sessions per team, guided conversations on fit, expectations & collaboration style
3. Open networking — Time to explore all the conversations you didn't get to yet
After the day — 6-week testing phase
If there's mutual interest, matched pairs start a structured validation phase at the Futury Startup Space:
Weeks 1–2 · Get aligned: Joint check-in with Futury, First Mind Test, vision alignment, and defining focus topics for the coming weeks
Weeks 3–5 · Work & test: Co-working in the Futury Startup Space, mid-point check-in, working on real startup challenges together
Week 6 · Decide: Final check-in — commit as an official team or close the chapter. Early exit always possible. Official "Matched via Futury" 🎉 if it's a go
Who can apply
The Matching Day is free and open to all founding teams with an active co-founder search in the Business or Tech area. Specific searches cannot be accommodated in-person and will be handled digitally.
