BioPharma Networking Hike: McLaren Park
Ponder the statement, ‘We know what we are, but know not what we may be’ along Philosopher's Way in McLaren Park. The new connections made and conversations had along the way are sure to help enlighten.
After the hike (~1:00pm), we will head down the Visitacion Valley Greenway (1 mile) to Leland Ave for snacks/drinks at Mission Blue Cafe (and for those interested we'll walk back to Jerry Garcia Amphitheater for the Shakespeare in the Park performance).

Parking = Free Parking in Lot at Mansell St & Visitatcion Ave. If full, also along John F Shelley Dr or Mansell St (between University St & Bowdoin St) [Remember to curb your wheels if parked on a hill & don't leave valuables visible]

Terrain = Moderate w/ dirt trails & paved paths, short climbs/descents [We will aim for a 30 min/mile pace]
4.15 miles with 645 feet of elevation gain (route - Strava)
OK to do in sneakers
Facilities = Restrooms and water available at multiple locations along route.
Misc = Dogs are allowed & cell reception is good.
