A pop-up neighbourhood in Western Australia, to launch Freo Neuhaus into the future as a network society and creative tech institution.
In collaboration with Arrayah, Freo locals and global Network Society builders, we’re holding a two-week working residency for people who want to build the conditions for human creativity to prosper.
We’re turning a patch of Fremantle into a live-in lab for artists, founders, technologists, and civic-minded doers. People who aren’t waiting for permission - they just need the right space, time, and alignment to push their work forward.
Freo Neuhaus draws on Australia’s history of the School of Arts and Mechanics’ Institutes - civic spaces created during past industrial revolutions to help people adapt through learning and making - and carries forward the Bauhaus purpose of merging art with tech.
We’re creating space where people can build the conditions for human creativity to prosper: imagination, agency, and the ability to influence the tools we live with.
The way Arrayah.city does it:
share a home with equally ambitious peers.
spaces where you feel good and do great work.
where health is built in by default, morning workouts, beach swimming, cycling, sunset meditations.
where breakfasts and dinners are shared, conversations stretch late into the night, and serendipity lives in the living room.
and beneath it all: structure that keeps you sharp, weekly syncs and coaching to stay on track, fireside chats to meet the person who might change everything.
This pop-up neighbourhood is a Freo Neuhaus launch, and is powered by Arrayah builders who create intentional spaces to break out of routine and build toward something better. As a pilot for Freo Neuhaus, this is just the beginning.
You’ll be co-living and collaborating with around 100 locals and global contributors, sharing a rhythm of projects, peer learning, and possibility.
