Summer Solstice Celebration | Renewal and Connection Under the Stars
Summer Solstice Celebration
Celebrate Renewal and Connection Under the Stars
Get ready for an unforgettable evening of connection, movement, intention setting, and delicious food.
The Summer Solstice marks the peak of the sun's power, symbolizing growth and the fullness of life. We gather to honor abundance, fertility, and our deep connection to the natural world. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this is the perfect opportunity to make new friends, honor the solstice, and let loose.
Historically, the Summer Solstice has been a time of communal celebration, feasting, and festivity. Gatherings, bonfires, and rituals foster a sense of community and shared joy, and celebrating the vibrancy of life.
Event Schedule:
5:30 PM: Arrive Early and Relax
Enjoy the fresh Topanga air, get settled, meet and greet, and enjoy refreshments. Take a moment to reflect on the significance of the Summer Solstice, a time of renewal, growth, and gratitude.
6:00 PM: Intention Setting and Visioning
This transformational group experience will open with a vocal toning workshop with Kundra Rose. Peter Oppermann will lead a visioning exercise with wireless headsets and binaural beats. The summer solstice is an ideal time for setting intentions and reflecting on personal goals.
7:00 PM: Movement Practice with Erin Rose
The magnificent Erin Rose Ward will lead a transformative, free-form, 360 movement practice that bridges dance and personal growth. The solstice is a time to honor transitions and can be seen as a metaphor for the cycles of life, death, and rebirth.
8:30 PM: Light Dinner
Enjoy a delicious Kitchari bowl. Kitchari is a traditional Ayurvedic dish—a wholesome, balanced meal made from plant-based ingredients mostly sourced from local farms. The warming spices offer anti-inflammatory and healing properties.
8:30 PM: Silent Disco Under the Stars
Conclude the night with a silent disco under the stars around a fire celebrating nature and the elements.
Parking: Please park along Topanga Canyon Blvd and walk up the driveway.
