Blockchain Ireland Spotlight Series: Spotlight on Derry

​Blockchain Ireland’s Spotlight Series returns as we continue our journey around the island, highlighting the blockchain, crypto and Web3 work happening one county at a time.

​For the first time, the series is heading north of the border as we shine a spotlight on County Derry.

​The Spotlight Series was created to look beyond the usual centres, celebrate regional ecosystems and give founders, builders, educators, investors and ecosystem leaders a platform to share what is happening in their county. Our ambition is to spotlight all 32 counties over time.

​For Spotlight on Derry, Niall Dennehy from the Blockchain Ireland Startups & Web3 Working Group will be joined by Sean Carlin, Founder of Stateless Research.

​Sean will share his entrepreneurial journey, the work being developed at Stateless Research and his perspective on the opportunities for blockchain, crypto and Web3 innovation in Derry and across Northern Ireland.

​We will also explore what it takes to build globally relevant technology from Ireland’s regions, the strengths of the local ecosystem and what could help the next generation of founders and innovators thrive.

​The Spotlight Series connects with Blockchain Ireland’s wider work on a national visual ecosystem map and directory, helping make blockchain and Web3 activity across the island more visible, accessible and connected.
