Lukas Salecker is a political economist and an emerging expert in AI Operations for Democratic Participation. He has actively engaged as a consultant, organizer, and leader in initiatives that empower citizens, challenge the status quo, and shape a collective future for the common good. In 2021, he co-organized a participatory process based on the citizen assembly model within Volt Europa, piloting the practice of Deliberative Policy Analysis in a Western context. During his tenure at ifok, a European market leader in participation, he co-organized the Peer Parliaments, an innovative and decentralized initiative for citizen participation in EU climate policymaking, among others. Recently, he initiated deliberAIde, a startup committed to transforming political, economic, and societal decision-making by harnessing AI to enhance democratic participation.
