Phospholipids, Essential Fatty Acids & Skin Health
Skin health goes beyond the surface — it reflects the structure and function of cellular membranes. Phospholipids and essential fatty acids form the foundation of every skin cell, influencing barrier integrity, hydration, and cellular signaling.
In this webinar, BodyBio Lead Clinical Educator Justine Stenger explores skin health through a lipid-centered lens, breaking down key fatty acid pathways, including omega-6 and omega-3 metabolism, and the role of enzymes like delta-6-desaturase. She also connects lipid biology with circadian rhythms, cellular energy, and membrane function to provide a more complete picture of skin physiology.
You’ll gain a clear, clinically relevant framework for assessing skin health, along with practical strategies to support barrier function and overall skin balance.
If you’re ready to move beyond topical approaches and better understand the internal factors influencing skin function, this webinar offers a foundational perspective.
