Congratulations! You're on a nonprofit board. Now what?
Whether you've just joined your first nonprofit board, have been serving for years, or are considering taking that leap, there's a lot to know about being an effective board member. And let's face it, most board members receive very little training before they're expected to make important decisions, oversee finances, support fundraising, and help guide an organization's future.
Good intentions are a great start. Knowing what you're doing makes all the difference.
Join Libby O'Malley for a practical, engaging, three-week virtual learning experience designed to take the mystery (and some of the intimidation!) out of nonprofit board service.
With more than 35 years of experience working with and leading nonprofit organizations, including both 501(c)(3) charities and 501(c)(6) professional associations, Libby brings real-world perspective, candid insights, and a healthy dose of humor to the conversation.
