About Event

Chayn is delighted to invite you to Same Image, Different World, an evening hosted at Bumble exploring a growing and under-recognised issue: non-explicit image-based abuse.

What counts as an "intimate" image isn't universal. Cultural and social differences shape how images are perceived, creating real gaps in how technology-facilitated abuse is experienced, recognised, and addressed around the world.

The evening opens with a first look at Chayn's groundbreaking research on non-explicit image-based abuse, followed by a panel discussion on this emerging form of abuse, its legal grey areas, and technology's role in both enabling and addressing harm.

During the evening, you will hear from experts including:

Yes, all attendees must register in advance and check-in upon arrival at the 4th floor reception. Security will be onsite at the event to ensure a safe, secure environment free of harassment.
