

Sunday Recharge: Alignment Yoga Sesh

Hi, this is Wendy! 😊 I’ve been practicing yoga for 10 years and this year, I’ve stepped into the joy of teaching.
My yoga journey actually sparked from a place of injury. I used to do a lot of bouldering—a sport that requires immense strength. Back then, I was so focused on finishing the route that I ignored how I was engaging my muscles. Moving in misalignment led to a lot of injuries.
Yoga became the space where I finally slowed down to feel and truly connect with my body. Through Alignment Yoga, I learned how to engage the right muscles properly and guide myself back to balance.
What is Alignment Yoga?
Technically, alignment yoga focuses on the deeper core muscles and the fine details of your body. We look at everything: from the foundation of feet and the active direction of muscle engagement, to the precise placement of your hands and the opening of your chest and shoulders. Every little adjustment matters. Through these subtle refinements, we create space for your body to naturally realign into its healthiest state.
Beyond the physics, Alignment Yoga is a practice of simultaneously building strength and extension. It helps those who are strong find softness, those who are flexible build stability, and those who feel stiff or tired rediscover their body's natural support and ease. Ultimately, it’s about using the mat to understand your body’s current state and moving toward your center.
All levels are welcome!
The practice will be 1h and will be led by Wendy.
⏰TIME: 6/21 17:00 (Please arrive 5–10 mins earlier so we can begin on time)
📍 LOCATION: Yoga studio close to Dongmen Station and Daan Forest Park (exact location provided upon sign-up)
💖 INVESTMENT
There’s a suggested minimum donation of NT200 to help cover the cost of the rental space. This session is limited to 10 spots max to keep the practice focused and connected.

We’re a small but growing community. If you RSVP, we’re counting on you to join! If plans change, kindly update your registration so we can offer your spot to someone else. No-shows make it harder for us to keep hosting these gatherings.
🎒 PRE-CLASS PREP:
Wear comfortable shorts (better for observing alignment and muscle engagement).
A yoga mat.
