Steady Stories
Steady Stories is a weekly virtual gathering centered around stories of recovery, resilience, perseverance, and personal growth.
Some of our storytellers will speak directly to addiction and recovery, while others share stories about leadership, purpose, rebuilding after setbacks, healing, and personal transformation. Our hope is to create a welcoming, thoughtful space to help reduce stigma and foster understanding more broadly.
Whether you're in recovery, supporting someone who is, sober-curious, interested in personal growth, or just believe in being a part of the effort to reduce stigma, you're welcome here.
A quick note on format: This is a webinar-style event. Attendees will only see the host and guest speaker. You will not be visible to other attendees, and there is no pressure to participate. If you'd like, you'll have the opportunity to submit questions for our guest and host, Mackenzie O'Connell, during the Q&A portion of the session.
Steady Stories is not affiliated with or endorsed by Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), Al-Anon, Narcotics Anonymous (NA), SMART Recovery, Recovery Dharma, Celebrate Recovery, ACA (Adult Children of Alcoholics and Dysfunctional Families), or any other recovery program or treatment provider. Our attendees come from many different backgrounds and experiences, including members of recovery communities, family members and supporters, people exploring sobriety, and those who simply want to better understand the human experience of overcoming challenges and creating positive change. All are warmly welcome.
