Mt. Washington Convoy 2026
Join the Tesla Owners Club of New England for our annual drive to the summit of Mount Washington!
We’ll start the day in Thornton, NH, at the Tesla Supercharger for a Charge & Chat before heading to Loon Mountain Resort to regroup and line up for the convoy.
From Loon Mountain, we’ll set out on a 52-mile scenic drive along the Kancamagus Highway before heading north to the Mt. Washington Auto Road. We’ll finish the journey with the legendary 7.6-mile climb, gaining more than 4,000 feet of elevation on our way to the summit!

We’ll head to Loon Mountain to regroup and line up for the convoy.

Depart Loon Mountain and begin our 52-mile convoy along the Kancamagus Highway toward the Mt. Washington Auto Road.

Arrive at the Auto Road and begin our climb to the summit.
Important Information
BRING WARM CLOTHING, INCLUDING GLOVES AND A HAT!
Weather conditions at the summit of Mount Washington can be dramatically different from conditions at the base, so come prepared for cold temperatures and wind.
After our time at the summit, there will be no organized return convoy. Depart individually or form your own groups for lunch in the area and the drive home.
Loon Mountain Resort
The group will line up in the parking lot at the entrance to Loon Mountain Resort. Please reference the map above when arriving to ensure everyone is in the correct staging area.
Mt. Washington Auto Road
Reference the above image for parking at the base of Mt. Washington. We will be turning left off the main road, then taking a left into the large parking lot, before heading through the toll booth as a group.
Before the event, we recommend visiting the Mt. Washington Auto Road website for current road status, weather conditions, pricing, and information on the Auto Road audio tour app, which provides a guided experience during the drive to the summit.
Auto Road Rates:
Adult (13+): $36
Child (ages 4–12): $15
Toddler (ages 0–3): Free
Rates are listed by the Mt. Washington Auto Road and are subject to change. We recommend bringing exact cash to get through the toll booth quickly.
