​Healthcare x AI Dinner Series: Edition 2

​A private, seated dinner at J.P. Morgan Headquarters for New York's healthcare, AI and data community. 15 guests: founders building healthcare data infrastructure, the teams training models on it, and the clinicians, operators and investors around them. There are no panels or pitches.

​The Evening

​We'll open with drinks, then sit down to a plated, coursed dinner.

​The evening will be centred on questions around the theme of Clinical AI and Healthcare Data.

​First course: The Data.
What healthcare data do we still not have, and why? Everyone around this table wishes a certain dataset existed. What is it, and what’s really keeping it from being built?

​Main course: Clinical AI Safety.
A patient record shows what happened, not how the decision was made. If we’re training AI to work in healthcare, what does it need to learn that the data can’t teach it, and who gets to decide when it’s learned enough?

​Third course: The Proof.
Say a model has the data and has passed every test. What would it still take for you to trust it with a real patient, a real experiment, or a real dollar?

​Sharon Rao, MD — Applied AI researcher and clinical community lead at Alterra Labs AI, building the frontier of clinical AI safety and alignment. Sharon hosts healthcare × AI dinners, workshops and build days across New York City.

​Vrijen Attawar is the co-founder of Simovian Intelligence, which generates clinical-grade, training-ready datasets for healthcare AI through a federated network of hospitals. A two-time founder and ex-McKinsey, he has spent his career where healthcare data meets the models built on it.
