Poll Watchers provide an independent set of trained eyes on the election proces—but effective watching requires more than simply being present. This class prepares Harris County Poll Watchers to understand their role, know what they are entitled to observe, recognize potential procedural and election integrity issues, and know when and how to address or report a concern.
This class is required for all HCRP Poll Watchers serving in Harris County. Republican Election Judges and Clerks are also welcome and encouraged to attend.
Prerequisite: Poll Watchers must complete the required Texas Secretary of State Poll Watcher Training before attending this class. Please email your certificate to pollwatchers@harriscountygop.com to confirm completion. https://pollworkertraining.sos.texas.gov/

The goal is for Poll Watchers to leave prepared to observe, document, and report effectively—protecting both the integrity of the election process and their own credibility while serving.
