Perimenopause, the transitional phase leading up to menopause, can bring a range of physical and emotional changes that may feel overwhelming.

Whether you're just beginning to experience symptoms or have been managing them for some time, this session will provide valuable insights, practical strategies, and expert guidance to help you navigate this stage of life with confidence.

About Dr. Denise Proctor, MD '85

Dr. Denise Harris-Proctor, MD, is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist with over 20 years of dedicated patient care in women's health. Her clinical practice specializes in women's health across all ages and life stages, with expertise in gynecologic care, prenatal, postpartum care, and menopause management, among other conditions. Dr. Proctor's true calling lies in forming long-lasting meaningful patient relationships, for which she has received numerous accolades, including Patients' Top Choice and Patients Recommended. She earned her undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology from Princeton University before receiving a certificate in African American studies. She pursued her medical training at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and completed her residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New York.

About Antonia Walters '13

Antonia Walters is the co-founder and CEO of Jayla Health, a healthcare company that delivers next-generation perimenopause and menopause care. Antonia's journey with women's health began early on, shaped by a unique family dynamic. With a 20-year age gap between her sister, Antonia, her mom, and her grandmother, she gained a unique perspective on puberty, fertility, perimenopause, and post-menopause. As she experienced her own fertility challenges and witnessed her mother navigate challenging perimenopausal symptoms, Antonia realized there was a need for better care. Before co-founding Jayla, she practiced as a corporate attorney at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz and as a fellow at Innovation Department where she launched consumer brands. Antonia holds a BA from Princeton University, a JD from Columbia Law School, and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
