Mega Med Social
Part of Twin Cities Startup Week 2026, September 14–18.
Minnesota has one of the strongest healthcare and MedTech ecosystems in the country, and for one night during Twin Cities Startup Week, we're bringing as much of it together as we can.
The Mega Med Social is a gathering for the people building, funding, supporting, and advancing what's next in healthcare. Founders, clinicians, researchers, investors, corporate innovators, medical device professionals, healthcare leaders, and the healthcare-curious are all invited to come meet one another, discover what people are working on, and make connections across parts of the ecosystem that don't always end up in the same room.
We're partnering with HealthcareMN, Minnesota's home for healthcare innovation and startups, to bring the community together. HealthcareMN has spent more than a decade creating connections between entrepreneurs, healthcare providers, investors, designers, corporate leaders, and others working to improve healthcare, making them a natural partner for a night built around strengthening those relationships.
And we're hosting it at University Enterprise Labs (UEL), a place where healthcare innovation is quite literally being built. UEL supports early-stage life science and technology companies with specialized lab and office space, shared resources, and an ecosystem designed to help technical ideas move toward commercialization. Instead of talking about Minnesota's healthcare startup ecosystem from the outside, you'll be spending the evening inside one of the places helping create it.

Dayna Taylor, CEO of Ezer21: Ezer21 works alongside MedTech and healthcare founders on the financial side of building and scaling a company. Through fractional CFO and strategic financial support, they help founders navigate capital strategy, forecasting, business models, investor expectations, commercialization, and the financial decisions that determine whether an innovation can successfully make the journey from an idea to patients.
Megan Doberstein, Commerical Marketing Leader @ Ignite MedTech: Ignite MedTech works specifically with MedTech and health-tech startups to figure out one of the hardest parts of innovation: how to bring something new to market. Their healthcare-focused marketing expertise helps growing companies clarify their positioning, reach the right audiences, and build the commercial traction necessary to turn promising technology into a sustainable business.
