Workshop: Don't Vibe Code, Architect the System
Part of Twin Cities Startup Week 2026, September 14–18.
You don't need to be a software engineer to build real software with AI, you need to stop handing the AI the decisions only you can make. I built an AI tutoring platform solo this way; it's now in its first university pilot. We'll cover the three practices that make AI-assisted building hold up past the first impressive demo: specifying before you prompt, treating your documentation as the AI's operating environment, and verifying output against the expertise only you have. Then we'll do it live - bring something you're building and we'll work through one idea with the room. No coding experience required.
Speakers & Perspectives:
Jason Clement, AI Product Builder: Jason will speak to using AI to expand what an early founder can build themselves without handing AI the domain knowledge and judgment that makes their idea valuable.
