About Event

In today’s rapidly shifting world, where volatility, ambiguity, complexity, and instability (often framed as BANI) challenge even seasoned leaders, this session invites you to go beyond surface-level adaptation and build deep, sustainable resilience. You’ll learn how self-mastery isn’t a luxury for leaders, it’s the foundation that enables sharper decision-making, steadier emotional balance, and clarity under pressure.

Through a blend of research-informed insight and practical application, you will:

  • Understand how BANI conditions shape how we think, decide, and respond, in both startup and corporate contexts.

  • Name and map your own default tension or conflict response patterns so you can see your automatic reactions before they take over.

  • Practice at least one actionable micro-shift: mental, emotional, or somatic; that interrupts unhelpful reactions and strengthens choice in the moment.

This talk is designed for innovation leaders, founders, operators, and anyone navigating high stakes environments, offering tools that translate ambiguity into agency and stress into strategic responses.

About The Speaker:

Ranya Verson, MEd, is a learning strategist and executive performance partner who helps leaders and teams work with more clarity, steadiness, and intention. With 25+ years of experience across manufacturing, hospitality, and professional services, she designs operational learning systems that elevate performance, strengthen culture, and build agile leaders.

Ranya is known for helping leaders see where execution breaks down across functions and management layers. She brings a clear, systems‑focused approach to diagnosing organizational friction and translating strategy into roles, expectations, and skill pathways that real teams can actually use. Her mix of structure and empathy helps groups align around the value they deliver and build the capabilities to sustain it.

As a trusted advisor, Ranya supports managers and executives who want to lead with more presence, resilience, and clarity—especially in moments of tension, change, or complexity. Her coaching is practical, rooted in day‑to‑day operations, and focused on helping leaders access steadier, more skillful responses when it counts.

She writes and partners frequently on leadership in an age of disruption, and champions adaptive thinking and resilient leadership as essential skills for founders, innovators, and anyone navigating high‑stakes environments. Ranya lives in Northwest Chicago with her partner and two cats, and tends to an urban native garden that keeps her grounded.
