​Charah is popping up at The Hub for Test Thursday on August 20!

​As an AAPI- and woman-owned small business, their small batch char siu BBQ marinade brings Hong Kong to your kitchen. Bold and sweet-savory, it's crafted with traditional soy sauce, fresh aromatics, and a carefully guarded blend of spices, including fermented tofu (think cheese, but soy-based and funky in the best way).

​Drop by The Hub (115 Bowery St.) from 5:30pm to 8pm to sample some food for free and buy some to take home!

​The sampling menu will include bite-sized char siu BBQ pork, chicken, or tofu and chili oil noodles. Charah’s Char Siu BBQ Sauce (12oz) and Chili Oil (6oz) will also be available for purchase at the event!

​About the Founders: Flora and Clara are the makers of Charah. They both share deep roots in Hong Kong, were globally raised, and now proudly rooted in Brooklyn, New York. Caught between our identities as proud Hong Kongers and Americans, Charah is their way of honoring the city that shaped and fueled them.
