Session #5 — Yoga: Beyond the Mat 🧘♀️

Yoga is everywhere. In two minutes you can book a class with your gym subscription around the corner. It's woven into our workouts, our morning routines, our Instagram feeds.
But do we actually know what lies beneath?
What if we told you that less than 10% of yoga is about the movement — and the other 90% is a wisdom tradition most of us have never heard of? Yoga isn't a practice of doing. It's a practice of being.
In this edition of SPARK Clubhouse, we open the door to what lies beneath the mat. Not the asanas, no flows, but the ancient wisdom connected to yoga. A path towards liberation, that teaches us how to relate to ourselves, to others, and to the world around us.
During this evening we'll explore:
Where yoga comes from and how it evolved into what we know today
The wisdom and philosophy that form its foundation (the part that rarely comes up in your yoga class)
Small, practical exercises you can take home and apply in your daily life
You'll leave with a new foundation underneath something that may have been part of your life for a while — or with a first introduction that turns out to be surprisingly close to home.
