Triumph of the Heart: A Screening for Lawyers

​The SMU Christian Legal Society and the St. Thomas More Society are proud to present this screening of Triumph of the Heart—the true story of a prisoner who volunteered to die to save another; a believer who brought hope to the hopeless.

​St. Maximilian Kolbe's sacrifice during the Holocaust is a powerful exhortation to live out our faith, especially in the darkest times.

​​Before the film, Bennett Rawicki (Dedman Law alum and the descendant of a Holocaust survivor) will share the vital role of lawyers in upholding the rule of law and preventing another Holocaust. After the film, producer Marcellino D'Ambrosio will be available to answer questions about the creative and spiritual process behind the film.

​​Out of respect for St. Kolbe and the other victims at Auschwitz, dinner will not be served at this event.
