GLP-1 Burnout Support Group
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, confused, or burned out by GLP-1 medications and the pressure of diet culture, you’re not alone.
● This is an anti-diet, fat-affirming group
● This is not a medical space for determining whether to take GLP-1s. It's a space for people who feel burnt out or harmed by the ubiquity of GLP-1 promotion and weight-loss pressure and are seeking support.
● We will meet virtually 3 times - May 30, June 6 & June 13, 2026 - for 2 hours, from 10am PT - 12pm PT/1pm ET - 3pm ET
● Registration is non-refundable so events like this can be sustainable.
● $69 is total cost for all 3 sessions.
This support space is for people who are questioning what they’ve been told about weight, health, and their bodies, and who want a place to process those experiences without shame.
Facilitated by weight stigma expert and author, Virgie Tovar, this group offers education, reflection, and community, not medical or mental health treatment.
Meetings will include activities like journaling, personal shares, and tool development.

FAQs
*What if GLP-1s have helped me? I need support, too.
Everyone deserves support. This group, however, is not a space where the merits of weight-loss will be debated. It's a space where GLP-1s will be treated as an extension of diet culture & a space where the demonstrated history of harm & failure caused by intentional weight-loss will be prioritized.
*I am thinking about taking GLP-1s. Is this group for me?
This group is most suitable for people who are already anti-diet, those who are very interested in becoming anti-diet & those who don't want to take GLP-1s, but still feel overwhelmed or burnt out by the uptick in weight stigma/food anxiety caused by the ubiquity of GLP-1 promotion.
*Can I get a refund?
In order to create a sustainable offering, refunds will not be given.
