About Event

Most LLMs are bad at news. They give you outdated information, miss coverage entirely, and point to sources you can't verify.

Connecting your LLM directly to a news API fixes that. You ask questions in plain language and get back real articles with the sources attached.

In this session, Joshua Dziabiak (Founder & CEO @ Perigon) will walk through how to connect Perigon's API and MCP server to the AI tools you already use.

We'll get into:

  1. How to connect Perigon's MCP server to Claude, ChatGPT, or your own agent.

  2. What you can actually pull: articles, journalists, sources, companies, people, sentiment, and story clusters.

  3. How to write prompts that return usable, sourced results.

  4. How to build a repeatable setup your team can use day to day.

After this session, you'll be able to do this kind of research just by asking:

  1. Reporter research: who covers your space, what they've published lately, and how they frame it.

  2. Competitive coverage: how your client stacks up against everyone else in their category.

  3. Topic research: which outlets own a subject, and whether it's climbing or fading.

  4. Story tracking: who broke it, who followed, and who's getting quoted.

For attendees:

Everyone who attends live gets extended Perigon API access afterward, so you have room to try what you learned. We'll share the details on the call.
