Alignment Across Borders: A Conversation with the IFRC

​The Chief of Staff Association is pleased to invite you to a special reception at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) headquarters in Geneva.

​The reception will feature a fireside conversation between Trent Smyth AM, CEO of the Chief of Staff Association, and Christopher Rassi, Chief of Staff and Under Secretary General, People and Strategy at the IFRC.

​The conversation will centre on what it takes to lead and align a global network like the IFRC, with 191 National Societies that each have their own leadership and priorities.

​Christopher will also reflect more broadly on his experience as chief of staff, from building trust across senior leadership to supporting decision-making in complex and changing circumstances, and what he has learnt about bringing people together behind a shared purpose.

​A Q&A will follow, after which guests are invited to join us for drinks and networking.
