AI After Hours: Building for Beginners, Session 02
From Chatting to Delegating.
Last Thursday, more than 200 of you filled One Central for our opening night, the biggest AI event we have hosted and the most popular event of its week on Luma in Dubai!
The Starting Block answered one question: where should you point AI? This Thursday, we start building.
Session 02 is the first of two hands-on lessons, and it teaches the jump that changes everything: moving from asking AI questions to delegating whole pieces of work you never have to redo.
In one evening you will learn:
The delegation method: Context, clear edges, and work you can check in a minute: the three skills that make handing work to AI safe instead of scary.
Real work, live on screen: We take actual tasks from the room, across marketing, finance, HR, sales and consulting, and turn them into delegated workflows in front of you.
What you leave with: Your first delegated workflow, chosen from your own week, plus the companion guide the next morning so everything is repeatable at your desk.
No laptops needed and no technical background required. You watch real builds happen live, ask anything, and do the hands-on at home with the guide. Just arrive curious and commercially minded.
Where the series goes next
Session 03 (Thursday 20 August) is the second lesson: Automations and AI Agents, work that runs without you.
The series closes on 27 August with the live hackathon final, where teams get a sealed business problem and ninety minutes, then demo on stage.
