Off the Record (Fireside Chats) – The Drop

An off-the-record fireside series with founders building real companies, sharing what rarely gets said on stage. No filters. Just honest, tactical conversation and transparent Q&A.

In this edition, we’re joined by:

Sidhant Bendre — Cofounder of Oleve

Sid Bendre is the co-founder of Oleve, where they are building a portfolio of iconic consumer software across multiple verticals.

Oleve’s portfolio of virally successful and profitable AI products has dominated App Store charts, generated over 1B+ views across social media platforms, and is generating 8 figures in ARR. Their products include Quizard AI (ranked #5 in Education as of April 2025) and Unstuck AI (ranked #3 in Education as of April 2025), amongst others that are not publicly shared.

Backed by Neo, Cal Henderson (co-founder of Slack), Russell Kaplan (President of Cognition), and Maria Zhang (ex-CTO of Tinder), Oleve is building the AI infrastructure to run a $1B portfolio of consumer software over the next decade.

Tanay Tandon — Cofounder of Commure

Tanay Tandon is a healthcare-tech founder and Thiel Fellow (’15) best known for building Athelas, the remote-patient-monitoring and diagnostics platform that reached a $1.5 billion valuation after back-to-back Series B rounds in 2022.

In 2023, he led Athelas’ merger with Commure and became CEO of the combined company, creating a healthcare-infrastructure powerhouse valued at roughly $6 billion and serving thousands of providers and hundreds of thousands of patients.

Earlier, while still in high school, Tanay developed Clipped, an AI-powered news-summarization app that won national press and Fast Company coverage, foreshadowing his focus on applied machine learning.

Seating will be tight. Apply to join.
