Step Out to Step Up: Break Free from Reactive Cycles to Focus on What Moves Forward
Step Out of your daily routine to Step Up in your leadership, to learn patterns of dysfunctional behaviours and practice breaking free from reactive cycles.
You may recognise yourself or others in the following scenarios:
- “You never deliver on time, I can’t trust any of you to do this properly.” – Notice how blaming and harshness can shut down dialogue and create distance.
- “Don’t worry, I’ll just do it for you.” – Recognise how stepping in to fix things can feel helpful in the moment but may disempower others and drain your energy.
- “There’s nothing I can do; I always get stuck with the worst challenges” – Pay attention to how feeling powerless gets on the way of delivering results.
This 1-hour interactive session is for leaders and leaders-to be, who want to step into more empowering mindset, strengthen trust and ownership in their team, and also free yourself from carrying the emotional weight of everyone else’s struggles. You’ll learn to:
✅ Recognise dysfunctional behaviours that lead to conflicts
✅ Learn how to step into a more creative and empowering mindset
✅ Practice responding to triggers in a way that promotes collaboration, responsibility and focus on results.
📅 Duration: 1 hour
💡 Format: Interactive, peer discussions & hands-on practice
