About the Speaker:
Jim Miller is Métis, originally from Gravenhurst, Ontario. He earned a BMath Co-op degree from the University of Waterloo in 1987 and spent the first decade of his career at Kodak Canada. For the past 26 years, Jim has been with RBC, where he began as a mainframe systems analyst and transitioned through several roles before taking on his current position as a Diversity Sourcing Specialist in Tech Recruiting. A career highlight includes co-leading the first hackathon ever hosted by a financial institution in North America. Jim currently resides in Mississauga with his wife and 23-year-old son.
