LOGOS CIRCLE MEETUP ABA #2
Welcome to the Second Gathering of Logos Circle, Aba
Our first Logos Circle laid the foundation for a growing community committed to solving real local challenges through collaboration, grassroots engagement, and practical action.
During our inaugural gathering, participants identified Economy & Cost of Living (ECO) and Housing & Community Spaces (HOU) as our priority civil society issue buckets. We also agreed that our first activation would begin with community mapping to better understand local needs before implementing solutions.
Now, it's time to move from planning to action.
This second gathering brings together builders, entrepreneurs, students, professionals, creators, developers, and community-minded individuals who are passionate about creating measurable impact across Aba and Abia State.
Whether you attended our first Circle or you're joining for the first time, you're welcome to be part of the journey.
OUR WINNABLE ISSUE
Following the decisions made during our first Circle, our primary focus remains:
ECO — Economy & Cost of Living
Our goal is to improve livelihoods by equipping and empowering people rather than providing temporary relief.
Through our community mapping exercise, we aim to identify individuals with existing skills, businesses, or strong interests and support them with the tools, equipment, knowledge, and mentorship needed to become more productive and self-reliant.
Areas of support include:
Agriculture
Palm oil production
Food processing
Small businesses
Rather than distributing cash or food items, our interventions will focus on sustainable empowerment that creates long-term economic opportunities.
HOU — Housing & Community Spaces
Housing remains one of our long-term priorities.
As our work progresses, we'll identify opportunities to improve community spaces, support neighbourhood development, and explore practical community-led housing initiatives.
