UCLA Law LLM Workshop: Current Student Panel on Application Tips & US LLM Experience
Join us for UCLA Law’s LLM Workshop: Application Tips & Insights into the US LLM Experience, where you’ll hear directly from currently enrolled UCLA Law LLM students about their journeys — from preparing a strong application to navigating life and academics in the US, and everything in between.
The session will be moderated by Nicole van Zyl, Assistant Director of Graduate Studies at UCLA School of Law, who works closely with the LLM program and will provide valuable context on the admissions process and the overall graduate student experience at UCLA Law.
In this interactive session, our student speakers will share:
Practical tips for strengthening your LLM application
What they wish they knew before applying
How they prepared financially and their advice on finding scholarships and funding opportunities
Their personal experiences adjusting to life in the US, acclimating to the US law school environment, and the highlights of studying in Los Angeles
Insights into classes, faculty, and the UCLA Law community
