BlahajDIY meetup #1 -- picnic
come join us for an evening of making new friends along with snacks and drinks, fun conversations, picnic games, and adventure! bring your favorite snacks, plushes, picnic blankets, games, or anything else you think might be perfect for the evening.
We'll meet at Union Station at 3:30 PM, take group transit to Cristie Pits Park at 4:00 PM and have a picnic there until the sunset at 8:30 PM. You're welcome to join us and leave at any time!

We're a group of passionate Torontotorians who want to build the community for people from all walks of life, makers, artists, writers, creators, and everyone else who falls through the cracks; the missing middle.
We've run all types of events from Apocalypse (Toronto's biggest high school hackathon) to smaller focused meetups and mini-hackathons like Circuit Island, AngelHacks Toronto, and Haunted House.
love writing? spend your free time drawing? working on building side-projects in your free time? write songs when you're at your lowest? Learning or playing an instrument? Whatever or wherever you are, BlahajDIY is for you.
BlahajDIY is experimental by design. We want to build a new community through IRL interactions that go beyond simple conversation.
It won't happen overnight. It won't take one (1) event. There will be plenty of failures along the way. Some events will be incredible, some events will be terrible.
But for BlahajDIY to be something for everyone, we need everyone to have a stake. BlahajDIY is going to be built by the people who attend our events.
We want to build a community where anyone can help organize and build. You don't need to be part of the circle. Want to try something new? Suggest it, and we'll try to make it real. Everyone is a producer.
