Global Prize Network Leadership Convening
The Global Prize Network brings together leaders from the world's premier incentive prize organizations to strengthen the practice, impact, and visibility of prize competitions.
Held during Climate Week NYC, this invitation-only convening is designed as a working session for organizations shaping the future of the global prize movement. Together, participants will exchange practical lessons learned, explore opportunities for collaboration, and workshop new models that can strengthen the entire ecosystem.
Discussion topics will include:
Demo, accelerator and investor days for competing teams and prize applicants
Building a shared evidence base through a collaborative research agenda and flagship publication on the efficacy of incentive prizes
Shared awards ceremonies and recognition opportunities
Communications, storytelling, and demonstrating philanthropic ROI
Opportunities for cross-organizational collaboration and collective advocacy
The session will feature collaborative discussions led by Cecilia Conrad, CEO and Founder of Lever for Change; Jacquelyn Francis, Founder and Executive Director of Climate Curve; Lori van Dam, CEO of Hult Prize; Elaine Hungenberg, Senior Vice President at XPRIZE, alongside many other leaders from across the global prize community.
Rather than presentations, the convening is designed as an interactive workshop where participants will openly share what's working, tackle common challenges, and identify opportunities to collaborate across organizations. The goal is simple: strengthen individual prize organizations while advancing the collective impact of the global prize ecosystem.
Optional Afternoon Session (1:30–3:00 PM): Universities & the Global Prize Ecosystem
Continue the conversation with Hult Prize, XPRIZE, and St. John's University as we explore how universities and prize organizations can work together to strengthen entrepreneurship, build a stronger pipeline of breakthrough ideas and innovators into prize competitions, and accelerate the journey from campus to real-world impact.
