Meaningful Conversation - Zurich #3
Meaningful Conversations Zurich is a small and intentional gathering space for honest conversations. A space to slow down, listen carefully and speak more openly than we usually do in everyday life.
The Journey of Meaningful Conversations started 8 years ago and has been hosted in different cities across Europe, including Amsterdam, Madrid and Lisbon, each time in a similar spirit and format, while being shaped by the local context and the people hosting it.
The idea was deeply inspired by my time living in Gran Canaria (Spain), where I joined the Sunday gatherings several times and experienced firsthand how simple, grounded and intentional conversations between strangers can create unexpected depth and connection.

Format & Theme
For this gathering, the conversations will revolve around the theme:
Focus in a Distracted World
As always, the evening will be guided by a small set of carefully chosen reflection questions, which will be shared with participants a few days before the gathering.
The intention is not to provide answers, but to create a space for honest reflection, attentive listening and meaningful exchange.

Language
The main language of the evening will usually be English. Depending on the attendees, parts of the conversation may also naturally shift into German.

Energy Exchange
To support commitment and help create a grounded and reliable space, there is a contribution of CHF 15 (Twint or Cash).
For students and Kultur-Legi holders, the contribution is CHF 10.
If paying via Twint, the contribution is ideally sent before the gathering begins.

Location
The gathering will take place at the Chinawiese area by Lake Zurich.
The exact meeting point will be shared with participants shortly before the event, as the final location may slightly vary depending on weather conditions and group size.
In case of rain, an indoor alternative nearby will be arranged and communicated in advance.
