FJCC & FCCJ Present: Finnish Defence Industry in Japan
Defence is on the rise globally, with countries seeking to both reinforce and update existing capabilities, as well as develop new ones to address shifts in the field. Japan is no exception, and with a recent record-setting defence budget the country is set to become the third-largest defence spender on the globe.
Cognizant of the fact that it cannot rely solely on homegrown solutions, the country is on the lookout for suppliers in friendly nations. This naturally presents an opportunity for Finnish companies in the field which benefit from both Finland's ascension to NATO and the country's history of close military ties with Japan over the course of over a century.
The Finland-Japan Chamber of Commerce (FJCC) and the Finnish Chamber of Commerce in Japan (FCCJ) are happy to invite you to join this hybrid session on the Finnish Defence Industry and the potential it has in Japan. The session is hosted at the premises of FJCC member Magnusson Attorneys, and organised in partnership with FJCC members Patria, XD Solutions, and HPP Attorneys. The day's speakers will be presenting their experiences as Finnish players in the defence and dual-use sectors doing business in Japan.
