​The Anti-Crunch Game Jam: Summer Heat Edition! Whether you're a veteran developer, a hobbyist, or writing your very first line of code, this is your sandbox. This month we're keeping development to a single weekend. Our focus is always on community, creativity, and healthy development habits — no crunch, just building cool things with awesome people. Keep your project small and focused!

​Kickoff: Friday, July 24 @ 5:00 PM EST — watch the forums (or Discord) for the theme reveal!

​Submission Deadline: Sunday, July 26 @ 11:59 PM EST

​Community Voting: Open until Friday, July 31 @ 11:59 PM EST

​RULES

​Keep it Chill — this is an anti-crunch jam. Prioritize sleep, food, and sanity.

​Fresh Code — design and program the core game during the jam window. Open-source assets, base engines, and your own frameworks are all encouraged. AI use is acceptable but should be disclosed when submitting.

​Be Kind — respect your fellow jammers.

​VOTING & PLAYTESTING

​Submissions close Sunday night, giving the community a full week to play, rate, and give feedback on everyone's projects. Voting closes midnight July 31.
