Planting Seeds for a Thriving Eco-Village

Join us for the third edition of Topanga Temple. Through our community dialogue, we have found that the greatest craving for change is around community living in a natural setting, aka eco-villages.

So that's where we're focusing our next inquiry and dinner. And you're invited to join us in the exploration of how we can actually get an eco-village started in Southern California and what it will take to do this.

We're going to need to bring together people aligned and committed to the regenerative paradigm who also have expertise, mastery, and experience in land and real estate development, hospitality, regenerative farming, coalition building and advocacy for regulatory change, media production and marketing, and research and science to prove that what we're doing is really as good as we believe it can be.

Event Highlights

5:30 PM: Arrive Early and Relax

Enjoy the fresh Topanga air, get settled, and meet and greet.

6:00 PM: Welcome and Participatory Inquiry & Salon

Organized by Scott Vineberg, this session will involve structured group discussions aimed at deepening our understanding of the eco-village concept. Participants will engage in collaborative inquiry, sharing insights and experiences, and identifying potential challenges and solutions for establishing a thriving eco-village. This session will foster a dynamic and interactive environment where all voices are heard and valued.

Regenerative Community Living and Eco Villages focus on creating sustainable, self-sufficient communities that thrive in harmony with nature. These communities aim to address global challenges by integrating local organic food production, renewable energy, waste recycling, sustainable building materials, and clean water systems. Designed to foster social connections, these villages emphasize holistic health and environmental sustainability. The model is scalable, adaptable for urban and rural settings, and promotes resilience through interconnected neighborhood units.

7:00 PM: Community Visioning

A transformational group experience led by Peter Oppermann, harnessing the power of collective intelligence. This session will include a visioning exercise to imagine regenerative community living solutions and an AI-assisted visual storytelling session to catalyze solutions for creating a regenerative local community.

7:30 PM: Farm-to-table Dinner

Served by Chef Emilio and his team, enjoy a family-style dinner featuring fresh ingredients sourced from local, regenerative farms. Vegetarian, vegan, and regeneratively grazed meat options are available.

Join us for an invite-only evening of insightful discussions, delicious food, and a collaborative effort to pave the way for sustainable eco-villages in Southern California.

Secure your spot now and join us for a family-friendly evening of inspiration and connection at Topanga Temple!
