The Exchange: Legal Ops Podclub ft. Trevor Sterling
Welcome to The Exchange, our legal ops podclub for ideas, information, and insight. There will also be an opportunity for networking (even though that doesn't start with 'I').
This session will take place on Tuesday, 9 September, at 12:30 GMT
This month, we're joined by Trevor Sterling, Senior Partner and Head of Major Trauma at Moore Barlow, and the first Black Senior Partner appointed at a UK top 100 law firm.
Trevor's journey from school underachiever to groundbreaking legal leader is a masterclass in resilience, authentic leadership, and creating systemic change. As the architect of Moore Barlow's pioneering Major Trauma Service—the first of its kind in the UK—Trevor has revolutionised how personal injury law focuses on rehabilitation and improved health outcomes rather than purely compensation.
Trevor will be discussing Oprah Winfrey's podcast episode with Jeff Moore ("Is your Job your life's purpose?"). Listen to it here.
Format:
🔹 15 min: Intro from Trevor on why he chose this content
🔹 15 min: Small group conversation about key insights from the episode
🔹 15 min: Small group discussion on how we can apply these ideas to legal ops
🔹 15 min: Networking
If you're a legal operations professional—or just interested in how authentic leadership and innovation can transform legal service delivery—this session is for you.
