Demystifying Ignite Talks with Aspiring Speakers

​We're back with another amazing lunchtime session with new and established speakers, this time focused on Ignite talks. If you don't know what they are, or how they can help you with getting into public speaking, join us!

​We have an awesome panel happy to answer your questions and share their experience and tips to present a successful ignite talk, including.

Speakers:

Suzie Rasnak: Suzie is a T-Level computing student specializing in networking, with a keen interest in devops and tech communities. Currently a junior automation engineer at Blue Box IT Limited working on remote monitoring and management (RMM), and automation

Paula Kennedy: Paula is Co-Founder & COO of Syntasso; previously Senior Director at VMware Tanzu, Pivotal and Co-Founder & COO of CloudCredo. With 25 years experience in tech, Paula is a CNCF Ambassador, Team Topologies Advocate and has spoken at many conferences including QCon, KubeCon, and DevOpsDays. Paula is an organiser for KCD UK, Fast Flow Conf and DevOpsDays London, and also organises the London Platform User Group. Based in the UK, Paula enjoys walking her dog and attempting to run half-marathons.

Carly Richmond is Developer Advocate Lead at Elastic, based in London, UK. Before joining Elastic in 2022, she spent over 10 years as a technologist at a large investment bank, specialising in front-end web development and agility. She is a UI developer who occasionally dabbles in writing backend services, a keynote speaker, and a regular blogger.
