Description:
Harold's Park Wildland is excited to host a Rewilding Tour and BBQ on Monday May 11th to kick-off Nature Tech Week, organised by the Nature Tech Collective. Our closest rail station is Broxbourne station, which is on the direct line between London Liverpool Street and Cambridge - perfect if you are attending the Nature Action Dialogues on the 12th - 13th May, or the Nature Tech Unconference on the 14th-15th May.

About the tour

Nattergal's third site, Harold's Park is a stunning grassland landscape with a fascinating history and views to the City of London skyline. On this 2.5 hour tour you’ll gain an insight into our long term vision for Nature and the steps needed to achieve that vision. Together with your guide you’ll explore the landscape and discover some of the early signs of Nature recovery. From woodlands to grasslands, we’ll hike across mixed terrain, veering away from the standard footpaths.

Please note: Our tours cover approximately 2-3 miles of wildland. You'll need a reasonable level of fitness and be able to cope with uneven ground. Sturdy walking boots are recommended. On wet days, wellies are a necessity.

About the BBQ

Our BBQ will be cooked by a local chef - using wild venison from our own site. There will be veggie and vegan options available, please purchase the correct ticket type so we know numbers.

Timings

  • Arrive from 2.30pm for a 3pm tour start

  • BBQ from 5.30pm

  • Wrap up at 8pm

Read our tour T&Cs here. Please note we have parking on site, and the site is a a short taxi trip from Broxbourne station.
