Agents That Act: TrueFoundry × Polaris Hackathon
Anything can talk. An agent has to reach your real systems, run the code it writes without breaking anything, and know when to stop and ask. This is a one-day, in-person hackathon in Bangalore built around that idea, and around TrueForge, TrueFoundry's open-source agent harness.

How it works: two rounds
Round 1 (open now, online): Fill out a short form around who you are, why you want in, and what you plan to build. Takes about five minutes, no prototype required. We shortlist on rolling basis based on how specific and technically plausible your idea is, not your résumé. Round 1 closes Friday, 18 September.
Round 2 (in person, by invitation): Shortlisted builders get a seat at the Polaris campus for a single seven-hour build day that includes a kickoff, a technical walkthrough of TrueForge and TrueFoundry's AI gateway, mentors on the floor, live demos, and prizes announced the same night.
What you'll build
Pick a job worth handing to an agent such as a cloud cost cleanup, a migration rehearsal, a release captain, a support ticket resolver, an access reviewer, or a full runbook executor, and build it on TrueForge. Every submission needs to show the harness actually doing the work: a real tool reached, code run in a sandbox, and a pause before anything irreversible happens.

Who can apply
Anyone 18+ who writes code and can attend in Bangalore on 26 September. No prior TrueFoundry experience needed. Teams of up to four form later (in Discord or in the room); solo entries welcome.
What's covered on the day: food, power, and wifi. Travel to Bangalore is on you.
